Trainee Scaffolders who have successfully completed a CISRS Part 1 Scaffolding course.

To provide candidates with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable them to errect, dismantle and alter scaffold structures as required under the CISRS scheme.

• 1 Day Assessmant of Skill Attained on Part 1.
• ½ Day Instruction/Training SG4:05
• Basic Independent Tied Scaffold
• Truss-out Scaffold
• Scaffolds with Prefabricated Beams
• Protective Fans
• Pavement Gantry
• Loading Bay
• Roof Saddle Scaffold
• Splay Scaffold
• Roof Edge Protection
• TG4 Tie Testing
• Alterations to Scaffolds (eg dropping lift height on an independent)
• 50 Question Test Paper (including an intermediate test at the end of the 1st week)

In addition to completing the above course, trainees are required to compile a portfolio of work based evidence for assessment to gain NVQ Level 2.
